Mr. Geoffrey (Jeff) R. Kaiser is an attorney and compliance professional with deep experience in healthcare fraud, compliance, government investigations, and fraud and abuse matters. His background as a former federal prosecutor and private-sector compliance advisor gives healthcare organizations valuable perspective in addressing complex regulatory, enforcement, and compliance challenges.
Experience
Mr. Kaiser served for nearly 10 years as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice in the Criminal Divisions of the U.S. Attorney’s Offices for the Eastern District of New York and the Southern District of New York. As Chief of Healthcare Fraud Prosecutions and Deputy Chief of Public Integrity in the Eastern District of New York, he directed investigations involving individuals and corporations facing allegations under a range of healthcare fraud and abuse laws.
His federal prosecution experience included matters involving whistleblower allegations under the False Claims Act. Mr. Kaiser also exercised oversight responsibilities within the Public Integrity Section for all healthcare fraud cases in the Eastern District of New York.
In the private sector, Mr. Kaiser held senior advisory and consulting roles supporting healthcare clients on compliance, fraud and abuse issues, business operations, and government inquiries. His work has included leadership in healthcare disputes, compliance, and investigations, as well as service as General Counsel and Director of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance for a large Medicaid fiscal intermediary and homecare provider in New York State.
