Dr. Roy E. Vartabedian is a specialist in Clinical Preventive Care and holds a Doctor of Public Health and Master of Public Health degrees in Health Education and Nutrition. He has worked in the field of health promotion, disease prevention, lifestyle medicine, and employee wellness for over 30 years, with patients, managing programs, consulting, and speaking throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
His landmark publication, Nutripoints, a New York Times Best-Seller, has been published and sold in thirteen countries and in ten languages. Dr. Vartabedian was Executive Director of Wellness Programs at the world-renowned Cooper Clinic in Dallas, Texas. There he developed the live-in Cooper Wellness (Residential) Program on the 30-acre facility. Earlier in his career he taught Preventive Care in the Family Practice Residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando. While there he trained Family Practice physicians on how to incorporate Patient Education and Preventive Medicine into their practices. Dr. Vartabedian developed the award-winning Preventive Care Learning Center for patients.
