There are usually both onsite and offsite components to an Independent Review Organization’s (IRO) work. In cases where the required documents can be appropriately and effectively provided to the IRO without visiting the provider’s site(s), the IRO work can be done entirely offsite.
The Fox Group has conducted it’s IRO audit work both on and off site as needs dictate. We believe in organizing the audit in a manner that is most conducive to meeting the needs of a given project and therefore focus on the most economical and efficient methods given the nature of the work at had, the time constraints dictated by the Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA), and the client’s ability to provide requested materials in a timely and organized fashion.
