With almost 30 year’s experience, her expertise includes management and supervision of staff at the corporate office level and in the nursing centers in 3 states. She was responsible for the management and collection of $ 25 million of Accounts Receivable for 36 skilled nursing facilities and 5 assisted living centers, using a decentralized billing system. Ms. Reimer held and participated in training sessions involving accounting, nursing and administrative staff, and interfaced directly with personnel of federal and state government agencies. She wrote and implemented Billing & Collection Manuals, designed and implemented the billing policy and procedures concerning Medicare reimbursement under PPS (Prospective Payment System) for 36 facilities. Responsibilities included preparation of monthly Medicare RUG/PPS revenue/census schedules, and periodic audits of Medicare MDS for appropriateness and accuracy with clinical charts.
